This breakfast whips up in less than 10 minutes and will rock your morning. All you need is a couple of eggs, a dollop of softened cream cheese, butter, cream and dill.
First, get the eggs going. For fool-proof scrambled eggs, heat a tablespoon of butter on low heat and crack in a couple of eggs. Using a spatula, begin to quickly stir and scramble the eggs until soft curds form. This will take a few minutes but if you don’t rush it, the eggs will remain super soft and fluffy. When the curds are mostly formed, drop in a tablespoon of heavy cream and another tablespoon of butter and continue quickly mixing together until fully incorporated. Mix in a pinch of salt and pepper.
Soften 2 tablespoons of cream cheese in the microwave for about 15 seconds then stir in 1/4 teaspoon of fresh or dried dill.
Plate the eggs and top with the cream cheese.
Grab some smoked salmon, rip it into bite-sized pieces and place on top of the eggs.
Finish with a sprinkling of everything but the bagel spice and your favorite hot sauce (optional).
Done and yum!
Dill Cream Cheese Scramble with Smoked Salmon
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp heavy cream
- 1/4 tbsp dill
- 2 tbsp cream cheese softened
- 2 oz smoked salmon
- everything but the bagel spice
- salt and pepper to taste
